It's Back!
The Jacobsburg 5 & 10 Trail Race took a 6-year hiatus, but we’re excited to announce that we’re coming back with another, long overdue, edition of our trail race! Enjoy the scenic trails along the Bushkill Creek and Sobers Run that take you through forest groves and rocky single track. Open the throttle and cruise the open dirt pack trails.
What's New?
The 5 and 10 mile courses have been changed to a 5k and 10k course. The 10k will be a second lap of the 5k course. We’re including a non-binary prize category. We’re adding a Top Dog prize category. Run with your dog and if your dog is the first dog to cross the finish line, they win a prize!
What hasn't Changed?
Win a prize for finding a gnome along the course and carrying your gnome to the finish line! Top 3 women and top 3 men win a prize. Top age group finishers win prizes. As always, we’re trying to leave as little impact to the park and environment as possible while still having a fun day in the dirt! Please try to carpool to our race if possible.
There will be two water stops along the course and one at the finish line. Food to refuel that tired body will be provided at the finish line. EMS services will be on site.
Race Categories
Racers will be divided up into separate age groups.The runner with the fastest time in their group will win a prize! Gnomes will also be hidden throughout the course for runners to find. Runners who find a gnome will win a prize! (One gnome per runner please!)
